Los Petrodólares de la EXXON y el Cambio Climático.

Mientras el clima del planeta está enloquecido, producto sobre todo, de la quema de los combustibles fósiles, el centro de estudios American Enterprise Institute (AEI), financiado por la multinacional petrolera más grande del mundo, EXXON, ofrece bolsas de 10 mil dólares a científicos e intelectuales de todo el mundo para que cuestionen y desmientan las conclusiones del informe de IPCC. www.ecoportal.net

On 2 February 2007, the British newspaper The Guardian reported that the AEI had sent letters to scientists, offering US$10,000 plus travel expenses and additional payments, asking them to critique a consensus report on global warming by the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The letters alleged that the IPCC was "resistant to reasonable criticism and dissent and prone to summary conclusions that are poorly supported by the analytical work" and asked for essays that "thoughtfully explore the limitations of climate model outputs."
